Esteemed guests are set to descend on a Gloucestershire village after its church was chosen to host a royal wedding.

Peter Phillips is preparing to marry for the second time next week, with the majority of the Royal Family expected to be present at the Cotswolds venue.

The 48-year-old, who is the King’s nephew, will exchange vows with NHS nurse Harriet Sperling near Cirencester on Saturday, June 6.

The ceremony will take place at All Saints Church in Kemble with the couple’s celebration characterised as an “intimate occasion with their close friends and immediate family around them”.

Amongst the royal attendees will be King Charles and Queen Camilla, reports the Express.

The Prince and Princess of Wales are also expected to attend the festivities.

Their three children – Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 11, and eight-year-old Prince Louis – may accompany their parents.

Princess Anne and her former husband, Mark Phillips, will be there to witness their son’s nuptials.

Sir Timothy Laurence, who wed Anne in 1992, is also likely to attend his stepson’s wedding.

Peter’s younger sister, Zara Tindall, alongside her husband, Mike Tindall, are anticipated to be present, potentially bringing their children, Mia, Lena and Lucas.

While the official guest list remains undisclosed, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh may also attend.

According to sources, Sarah Ferguson and Andrew Mountbatten, along with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are not anticipated to be amongst the guests.

Sources said to HELLO! magazine: “When and whether Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah Ferguson had been invited, it was probably not deemed appropriate to invite them.

“It’s Peter and Harriet’s special day, and clearly their attendance would cause a distraction to the whole day.”

Harry and Meghan are reported to also not be invited.

The sources were quoted as saying: “Peter and Harry haven’t spoken for several years and have simply lost touch, so he hasn’t been invited.”
