Prince William won’t be dealing with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s drama when he becomes head of the monarchy.
According to an insider, the Prince of Wales won’t strengthen ties between The Firm and the couple when he assumes King Charles III‘s job.
“The moment he does get control, whether that’s officially taking the throne or just finally getting [Charles] to come around to seeing his way and booting them out, the curtain is going to come down on Harry and Meghan,” a source told the Examiner.

“William will do it with great pleasure,” the insider warned.
William has vowed to enact change within the royal family even before he becomes king, something Meghan and Harry wanted to accomplish.
“No doubt [they] are watching with great envy. He’s making the sort of massive impact they bragged they were going to make when they launched Archewell [their foundation], but that fell flat,” the source noted.
“They don’t have the endless resources that William has to make his promises a reality,” the insider claimed.

The Duke and Duchess have been stoking tensions with their family members with their unofficial visits around the world.
“William says he’s being totally undermined and he’s convinced Harry and Meghan are to blame,” a source told Closer.
While William is furious, His Majesty is reportedly more forgiving.
“William is at a point where he no longer trusts the majority of the palace staff because he knows most of them are loyal to his father and right now he and Charles are so divided when it comes to what to do about the Sussexes,” the insider claimed.

“He says they [Meghan and Harry are] using any scrap of information they can get their hands on to stay in Charles’ good books,” the source added.
“The Sussexes do get quite a steady flow of information, but they insist there’s nothing nefarious about it, they say they’re simply being kept in the loop about situations within the family that might affect them,” they noted.
Royal commentator Lee Cohen believes Meghan and Harry are on borrowed time with their titles. Especially, when they are making money off of them.
“As long as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle retain their titles, every overseas appearance carries an implied endorsement,” he wrote for GB News.
“That is not opinion — it is a consequence. And Britain must not continue empowering a frivolous brand masquerading as a monarchy,” Cohen claimed.
“The remedy is obvious. Strip the titles. Remove the privileges. End the theatre,” the expert continued. “If they wish to operate as entertainers of influencers, they may do so — but only as private citizens. No coronet. No rank. No implied authority.”
Even Sussex Prime Minister Tim Loughton told MailOnline that he feels the pair aren’t worthy of representing the region.
“They rarely visited Sussex even before they abandoned the UK for California and on our County Day, they have again shown no interest in Sussex,” he said.

“Yet again, the interest of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the county from which they continue to use their title has been underwhelming to say the least,” the politician noted.
“It is time we had a Duke of Sussex who has a genuine interest in our County and wishing Sussex residents a happy Sussex Day is hardly a tall order,” he added.
