Prince Harry has been uninvited from his cousin Peter Phillips’ wedding, with reports suggesting the pair haven’t been close for years.
Royal family members such as Kate Middleton and Prince William are expected to attend the wedding, which is due to take place on June 6. However, Harry and his wife Meghan Markle won’t be in attendance.
The wedding snub will be a huge blow for the Duke of Sussex, with reports suggesting he has “many regrets” about the way he left the royal family. While Peter seems to have turned his back on his cousin Kate is believed to be trying to help Harry find his way back to the royals. It comes as King Charles has one condition before seeing grandchildren Archie and Lilibet.
A source suggested the wedding snub is “one of the deepest blows yet to Harry” as he “adored” Peter when they were growing up.
Speaking to Closer Magazine, the source claimed Harry “genuinely didn’t believe” he would end up not invited to Peter’s wedding. They said, “He feels deeply hurt and humiliated. But the sentiment within the family – particularly William – became that the day needed to stay very much focused on Peter and Harriet.”

The source suggested Harry was removed from the wedding guest list as “nobody wanted headlines dominated by speculation about Harry, Meghan and family tensions.”
Despite this, they said Harry feels as though he’s been snubbed and is privately blaming his father, King Charles. The source revealed, “Harry’s made far more effort behind the scenes than people realise, that’s why this feels like such a slap in the face to him.”
The wedding snub is believed to have “shaken” Harry as he’s viewing it as “another door closing” on his chances of reuniting with the royal family.
While Harry supposedly isn’t happy with the snub, the source suggested his brother William is relieved.
“He sees it as confirmation that the Sussexes are not simply going to drift back into the fold. Trust is still the huge issue. William especially feels there has to be a line,” they said.
Despite this, the Princess of Wales is believed to be hoping her husband can build some bridges with Harry and find some way to reunite.
The source suggested Kate feels as though William is “pushing Harry too far now” and said she’s trying to avoid more family drama. And it seems Meghan is in agreement with Kate.
The source suggested the Duchess of Sussex believes her husband is being treated unfairly as he is “constantly being emotionally pulled around by the family.”
