Mark Wahlberg‘s By Any Means movie trailer is here, and he looks absolutely unrecognizable. Also featuring Wonder Man star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, the upcoming movie is helmed by Elegance Bratton.
The official synopsis for the crime drama reads, “Based on a true story, a young Black FBI agent (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) is sent into 1960s Mississippi to investigate a wave of brutal killings targeting civil rights leaders. Forced to work alongside notorious mafia hitman Greg Scarpa (Mark Wahlberg), he finds himself pulled into a deadly hunt where justice and vengeance begin to blur.”

What do we see in the By Any Means trailer?
The trailer for By Any Means shows Wahlberg as the mafia hitman, Greg Scarpa. He is seen wearing heavy prosthetics, and one can’t figure out if it’s really him while watching his character on the screen for the first time. Abdul-Mateen II, on the other hand, is playing an FBI agent Strider
In the trailer, Strider is forced to work alongside Scarpa to solve a mysterious case involving the brutal killings of civil rights leaders. While the two characters are vastly different in both values and personality, they agree on one thing: the law has limits; they don’t. When things get out of hand, they are seen going to extreme lengths, breaking rules, to solve the case.
By Any Means also features Nicole Beharie, Josh Lucas, LisaGay Hamilton, LaChanze, Ethan Embry, with David Strathairn and Giancarlo Esposito in supporting roles.
