The Knicks have taken a 2-0 lead in the 2026 NBA Finals after holding off a furious Spurs comeback in Texas to win Game 2 on Friday night, 105-104. The series now shifts to Madison Square Garden for Game 3 on Monday.

Game 1 went the Knicks’ way too, with New York erasing a 14-point deficit on Wednesday night to win 105-95 in their first Finals appearance since 1999.

And with the Knicks in the finals for the first time since 1999, many of their celebrity superfans made the trip to Texas, turning the Frost Bank Center into a mini Madison Square Garden for a few hours.

Among those in attendance for Game 1: Spike Lee, Ben Stiller, Tracy Morgan, Timothée Chalamet, John Turturro and Fat Joe.

“That was a big one,” Chalamet said after the game. “Three more, let’s go.”

Game 2: The fan club returns

Many of the same Knicks superfans flew back to San Antonio for Friday’s nail-biter, which Victor Wembanyama nearly stole with a final-second shot that came up short.

Chalamet, Stiller, Morgan, and Fat Joe all returned courtside. They were joined by Knicks legend Walt “Clyde” Frazier and Friday and Rush Hour star Chris Tucker. Spurs great David Robinson, also at Game 1, was back in the building Friday to support his old team.
