Beresford-Cleary works as a consultant spine surgeon at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He graduated from University College London with a degree in mechanical engineering and later studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh.
He went on to complete surgical training in trauma and orthopaedics in Oxford, and completed his training in 2019.
His areas of expertise include degenerative disc disease, back pain, sciatica, myelopathy, spinal oncology and adult spinal deformity.

While details of how the Ted Lasso actress and the spine surgeon met remain unclear, the pair were first pictured holding hands in March at the Cheltenham Festival – British jump racing’s most prestigious meeting.
Waddingham confirmed in an interview with The Sun last month that she was dating someone “very good-looking”.
