Charli xcx – 155 (2026) [feat. Margot Robbie, Emma Mackey & Greta Gerwig] (Official Video)

Music video by Charli XCX performing 155 (2026) featuring Margot Robbie, Emma Mackey & Greta Gerwig.

“Welcome to Emerald’s official channel,, we are beyond proud to back this project. When Charli, Emerald, Greta, Emma, and our LuckyChap team got into the studio today, we knew we had to make something raw, loud, and unapologetic. We are celebrating cinema, music, and the artistic freedom to create what we love. Turn this up loud.”

    A Note from Charli xcx:
“If you’re reading this, you probably came from one of the exhausting 90-minute video essays telling me I don’t know how to make rock music, or attacking my new single ‘Rock Music’ and the upcoming XCX8 album. Or maybe you came from the endless BookTube drama dissecting Emerald’s Wuthering Heights 2026 movie.

To Movies for Breakfast, who claimed our art ‘proves that anti-intellectualism is winning, and critical thinking gets punished’… To That Bookish Witch, who cried about the ‘girlie pop-aganda of wuthering heights 2026’… To Charli Chats complaining about ‘The TikTokification of Wuthering Heights’… and to Abbie Ree, Marina McBain, Regency Rumours, Bryony Claire, claireisbookish, and the rest of the commentary community: this is our response. You got it all wrong.

Reinventing classic art and embracing pop culture isn’t ‘anti-intellectual’—it’s creative freedom. To prove a point, me, Margot, Emma, Greta, and Emerald got in the studio today and recorded this cover of one of my favorite songs, ‘155’ by one of my favorite classic bands, +44.

It’s an iconic, recognizable, respected rock song, and we chose it because its intense, isolating energy fits the spirit of Emily Brontë and Wuthering Heights perfectly. We wanted to shock you, pay tribute to Emily Brontë’s legacy, celebrate talented musicians, and show off our unique taste.

Consider this 2026 cover the official signal to my fans: I am entering my XCX8 Rock Era. This is a special companion project for my upcoming 8th studio album dropping this year. Stay mad, stay obsessed. 🖤”

    A Note from Emerald Fennell:
“There is absolutely nothing ‘anti-intellectual’ about feeling something deeply, rawly, and unapologetically. Emily Brontë was a punk. She would have loved the noise, the chaos, and the disruption.

The BookTube and film commentary community have spent months dissecting our Wuthering Heights film as if female desire, gothic reinvention, and pop-culture collision are crimes against literature. When Charli brought this +44 track to us, it was the perfect storm. We produced and mixed this today to celebrate art in all its forms. Thank you for listening, exclusively here.”
