The mother of romcoms is back with glossy new romp, and J-Lo fans are showing up in force. “Office Romance” wasted zero time jumping to the No. 1 spot on Netflix, marking a return to form for Jennifer Lopez in the genre she helped define. As you may have guessed from the title, it’s centered on a secret workplace romance and the charm, comedy, and complications that arise when two ambitious professionals try to fit an ill-advised relationship into their demanding careers. It doesn’t break new ground for the genre (romcoms rarely do), but its sharp dialogue and the natural chemistry between its leads make for a breezy weekend watch.

Lopez stars as Jackie Cruz, the no-nonsense CEO of a major airline whose high standards keep everyone around her on their toes. Little does she know that a driven new hire (Brett Goldstein) is about to throw her carefully laid plans out the window. Despite company rules and the potential fallout of an office romance, the spark between them becomes increasingly difficult to ignore.

Even if you’re not a huge animation nerd, you’ve likely heard of Sony Pictures Animation, the powerhouse studio behind last year’s breakout hit “K-Pop Demon Hunters” and the acclaimed “Spider-Verse” films. The Oscar-winning studio returns with “Goat,” a vibrant and dazzling animated adventure featuring an all-star voice cast that includes Caleb McLaughlin, David Harbour, Aaron Pierre, Nicola Coughlan, Patton Oswalt, Jelly Roll, and NBA superstar Stephen Curry.

A cross between an underdog spirit of a sports movie with an anthropomorphic animal world reminiscent of “Zootopia,” “Goat” centers on a determined young goat (McLaughlin) who dreams of playing professional Roarball, a hard-hitting sport that’s like basketball with the ruthlessness of rugby. In a league dominated by the animal kingdom’s largest and fiercest predators, he seems destined to be overlooked. But when he finally gets his shot, his rise challenges the widespread belief that smaller animals simply don’t belong on the court.
