The biggest night for Broadway has arrived. The 79th Tony Awards took place at the iconic Radio City Music Hall in New York City on June 7, with singer/Broadway superfan Pink serving as the host of the ceremony.
Ahead of the show, stars from Broadway’s biggest hits and other celebrities walked the red carpet. From Chess star Lea Michele and Maybe Happy Ending’s Darren Criss to Rosie O’Donnell and Billy Crystal, so many notable names showed up to celebrate all things Broadway. Cole Escola, the original Mary Todd Lincoln in Oh, Mary!, walked the carpet with their latest successor, Maya Rudolph.
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos were all smiles on their Tonys date night out. Consuelos made his Broadway debut in Fallen Angels this year. Ripa and Consuelos’ youngest son, Joaquin Consuelos, also made his Broadway debut in Death of a Salesman.
