APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) – A staple of Fox Valley fundraising returns Monday.
The 38th Celebrity Golf Outing to benefit Children’s Wisconsin takes place today.
When the tournament began in 1988, Children’s had not yet expanded its services in northeast Wisconsin, like it has today in Neenah, Appleton, and most recently Green Bay through its partnership with Emplify Health.
For nearly 20 years now, former Appleton West and Badgers basketball star Brian Butch has been involved with the outing, which has become very personal for him and his family.
