Trumps response to being told the average day American can’t afford sporting games he’s attending “No, but they can watch it on television. It’s sort of semi-free to watch it on television. But that’s the way life goes…”

This is what the country voted for or sat out in protest for.

People like him care nothing for normal working class folks.

      Just more perks for him.

      He is so despicable.

I pay to watch this man rot in prison. It could be one way he pays back the billions he has stolen.

He can’t* run for reelection so he thinks he doesn’t have to worry about it. That’s the way life goes.

*I am sure he will try even though the Constitution forbids it

I like how he’s almost sort of aware of how it’s a nightmare to watch sports in this post cable weird streaming rights landscape when he says “semi free” but honestly equally let them eat cake to suggest all taxpayers just budget for the cost of collecting all the streaming services to watch sports at home.

I had to upgrade my Hulu w/espn to espn plus for 29 extra dollars, that I’ll cancel as soon as it’s over. To watch finals you needed prime, peacock and espn plus.

    13. Tickets to NBA Finals games in 1975 typically cost between $6 and $20, depending on the seat location. That’s equivalent to about $37 to $123 today.

Average resale prices for Knicks home games soared to $7,683 to $17,398, with the cheapest “get-in” prices (upper-level seats) starting between $3,900 and $8,000. VIP and front-row seats have exceeded $65,000 to $100,000.

Wealth inequality is out of control. That’s the way life goessss.
