      I’ve never liked Pete, but Elsie’s social media crashout, looking for nannies on Instagram and implying he’s on drugs was honestly embarrassing for her. I think both are a mess and they never should’ve have had a baby but I hope they can learn to comfortably co-parent.

      The sighting comes just hours after Elsie Hewitt gave fans a glimpse into her life as a single mom following her split from Pete.

      In a recent TikTok, Elsie documented a day caring for Scottie, revealing she was up in the middle of the night changing a dirty diaper, then squeezed in her first Pilates class since giving birth, and she attempted, but failed, to make it out for dinner later that night.

      But we’re told the videos only show Elsie’s side of the parenting equation.

      Our sources say Pete remains very active in Scottie’s life and sees her daily. We’re told Pete continues covering expenses for the baby and is helping with Elsie’s healthcare and living situation despite their breakup.

      Iā€™m not saying its worthy of praise or even good parenting but a lot of fathers are in his exact position and if they werenā€™t rich, people wouldnā€™t be calling him a deadbeat because thats reserved for guys who ghost out of their childs lives and/or dont pay.Ā 

      Also, it is relevant to say he was working and on tour. And while I know thats not an excuse for him not being there, I do have to say from what I have heard whether he went on tour sooner or later it was absolutely something he was going to need to do.

      He is in the show business as a comedian, in that entertainment industry someone can be hot one moment and dust five years later, absolutely forgotten about. He needed to strike while the iron is hot. And critically his history absolutely cannot be left out in this conversation. He is famously mentally ill with borderline personality disorder (or bipolar?) and he has made a bunch of *catastrophically expensive* **mistakes.**Ā 

      He got off SNL (even tho Lorne loves hin) and *made* a show and **got fired** from it because he stopped showing up or something(he keeps relapsing), he bought a ferry with Colin Jost (richer) with some half assed business plan for a floating bar and itā€™s regularly getting $200,000k fines and just floating, the business not even started and dead in the water.Ā 

      Heā€™s had a host of controversies but he is very unstable so even mentioning a few off the top of my head is crazy, getting tattoos of Kim Kā€™s kids names, getting a ton of tattoos and then getting them removed and then tatting his kids name on his face or something, he keeps relapsing, he had a baby with elsie within a few weeks of knowing her ~1 month, he threatened to kill himself in Kaia Gerbers parents house when he was dating her, heā€™s had some weird staten island history drama-he keeps saying heā€™s jewish when heā€™s not? Just in general the guy is weird but open about his mental illnesses but probably not so open about his drug use.Ā
