    1. instantly clicked from the notifications. Grateful and amazed at nolan for making entire audience sit in an Imax theatre for 3 hours that too on a movie about the destroyer of the worlds.

    2. It's always great to see an out-of-the-theatre reaction, Christy! I was excited when the first trailer dropped months ago, but your reaction has confirmed my worst fears for the film.

    3. Got my ticket for tomorrow, excited to see it!! I'm also excited to stop seeing the damn trailer too!! Unfortunately still gonna be inundated with The Odyssey trailer for a while longer though!🤦‍♀

    4. thanks Christy! I am still excited to see this, but I'm glad you have also tempered expectations; I am usually expecting a certain bluntness (no pun intended) when I see David Koepp's name on a screenplay

    5. Similar sentiment coming out of Project Hail Mary and I thought that one could’ve been even longer! So, this makes me even more excited for this movie! Keep me in that theater as long as possible please!

    6. Spielberg is a solidly reliable and entertaining filmmaker. But he hasn't made an undeniably great film in decades. The most I'm hoping for from Disclosure Day is another War of the Worlds or (even better) another Minority Report. Solid and entertaining with scattered sparkles of invention. I've pretty much given up on him ever being special or masterful, which is fine.

    7. Most popular movies nowadays are based on a one-idea premise. This movie is going to be a good example of that. Twenty minutes in, the premise is used up and the movie becomes boring. The common symptoms are lazy directing and writing. Steven Spielberg is not Doug Liman, this movie will not repeat the success of Edge of Tomorrow just because Emily Blunt is in it. Man, it's been 12 years since Edge of Tomorrow, and there hasn't been anything near as good. Edge of Tomorrow might be the last great sci fi movie.

    8. Arrrrrrghhh!!! Sounds like ‘A.I: Artificial Intelligence’ all over again. Not making the right decision on where to end it. Frustrating!! 😡

    9. To be honest I haven't really been wowed by one of his movies since Saving Private Ryan. There's been several okay movies but nothing as impactful as his ET, Close Encounters etc etc.
