Too bad Israel sucks at soccer, for their reception would’ve been champagne and rose petals.
I wonder what kind of reception Netherlands and other European teams got?
I honestly think it was simple as ‘they have stan in their name’ as to why the Uzbeks are being treated this way.
I’m not watching the cup this year and haven’t watched for a while but Senegal is always such a joy to watch play. They seem to have a lot of fun in their warm-ups and stuff. Honestly I would love to visit there one day and I’m enraged to see how they (and others) are being treated.
For those who don’t know, this is a very normal procedure. This isn’t because of Trump or anything. It’s just the rules as they are currently written. I’ve seen comments from media members who travel w/ NBA teams saying this is what a standard TSA check for sports teams taking charter flights looks like.
Proud and relieved my national team 🇮🇹 decided to actively boycott this world cup by feigning extreme incompetence and an embarassing lack of footballing ability for years, despite having four stars on their shirts.
I wonder why international tourism to the US is down at the moment, just can’t figure it out.
I cannot believe more countries didn’t boycott. Any brown person coming to this country is asking for trouble. It is not safe.
