Actor Colman Domingo has sold his longtime midcentury home in Downey, California.
The sale closed for $2.135 million, slightly over its asking price of about $2.05 million. Domingo and his husband, Raúl Domingo, put the house up for sale in early March, and it found a buyer within two weeks.
The Domingos bought the home—which is about 30 minutes southeast of Los Angeles—in October 2018 for $1.15 million from the estate of its original owners, records with PropertyShark show.
Further east, in the Rocky Mountains, Tan France, one of the stars of the Netflix series “Queer Eye,” is selling the most expensive existing home on the market in Salt Lake City. The newly listed Tudor-style residence is asking $7.5 million.
France, 43, a fashion designer and entrepreneur, was the style expert on the Emmy award-winning reality show, which aired its 10th and final season earlier this year. He and his husband, Rob France, acquired the underlying property in 2021, listing records show. The home was completed in 2023.
