Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods have seen their fair share of drama over the course of their friendship, but all that seems to be behind them now. Both women have been courtside fixtures in Madison Square Garden’s celebrity row during this year’s NBA Finals. Jenner seems to have found her New York Knicks fandom via her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, and Woods is engaged to Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns, which means they’re often under the same roof, decked out in blue and orange. On Wednesday night, following the Knicks’ shocking comeback against the Spurs, the former duo cemented what is apparently a new tradition: sharing a post-win hug on the court.
During last year’s playoff run, Jenner and Woods shared a friendly hug on the court after the Knicks defeated the Boston Celtics. One year later, the Knicks are even closer to victory, and I’m getting déjà vu. As captured by ESPN, Jenner and Chalamet were busy celebrating on the court when Chalamet saw Woods, and gave Jenner a supportive push to say “hi” to her former BFF. Jenner ran into Woods’s arms, and they laughed as they jumped around in circles, still embracing. I don’t know if that means they’re back to daily FaceTime calls and pajama parties, but to me, it looks like Mother Nature is healing. I guess nothing brings two ex-besties together like the New York Knicks.
