Sony Pictures has ramped up its “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” marketing this week, starting with the launch of the official Spidey Tracker.

Tom Holland and Zendaya made their first public appearance for the film in Madrid on Monday with a photocall at the Four Seasons Hotel, drawing attention from national and international media.

The promotional tour is set to continue throughout the week in Spain and is just the start of a global press tour for the cast and crew. To allow fans to keep tabs on how it’s going, Sony has launched the official Spidey Tracker website.

Madrid marks the kick-off with the whirlwind tour encompassing Madrid, Shanghai, London, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Mexico City, Paris, Berlin, Rome, and New York.

San Diego is also getting in on the action as well, with the film confirmed to be getting a panel at next month’s San Diego Comic-Con. A new synopsis for the movie has also been released:

“It’s a BRAND NEW DAY for Peter Parker. Fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that doesn’t remember him – and the pressure of seeing his old friends move on without him – sparks a change in Peter he may not have the power to control.

But that transformation might also be the only thing that can stop a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves – a powerful villain no one can even see. The world may have forgotten Peter Parker, but he hasn’t forgotten them.”

The news comes as some of the film’s promotional material, including the next trailer and some pre-recorded intros, have leaked online in recent days.

Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo co-star in the Destin Daniel Cretton-directed film opening in cinemas on July 31st.
