🎬 Fun Fact:

While Merv stars Zooey Deschanel and Charlie Cox, many cast and crew members joked that the real star of the movie was Gus, the rescue terrier who played Merv. Gus was so well-trained that he often nailed his scenes in just a few takes, and Charlie Cox enjoyed working with him so much that he later adopted a Border Terrier after filming wrapped.
