Daveigh Chase, the child actor best known for The Ring and as the voice of Lilo in Lilo & Stitch, has reportedly died at age 35. Chase’s boyfriend, Roy Hernandez, told TMZ that the actor died on Tuesday from meningitis and a blood infection leading to “septic issues.” According to the outlet, Chase had been admitted to a Los Angeles hospital earlier in the month due to malnutrition.

Earlier this week, Hernandez set up a GoFundMe for Chase, sharing that  her condition had become “critical.” “The doctors have told me she may not have much time left,” Hernandez wrote. “All she ever wanted was a place where we could live together, feel safe, and be happy. Now, more than ever, I want to give her that sense of home and peace in her final days.”
