On June 10, 1992, American model and actress Kate Upton was born in St. Joseph, Michigan. She grew up in Melbourne, Florida, where her father served as a high school athletics director and her uncle was a major league baseball manager.

Upton rose to international fame in 2011 when she appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She went on to appear on the cover three times total, becoming one of the most recognizable models of her generation. She has also acted in films like The Other Woman (2014) and Tower Heist (2011).
