La Voix to join BBC’s EastEnders for fun special episode

A popular drag queen is joining the cast of EastEnders as the soap marks Pride month in July, according to reports.

La Voix, whose real name is Christopher Dennis, is known for being on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and is set to perform at the Queen Vic pub.

Her short stint on the show is thought to be airing in the coming weeks as she joins the LGBTQ+ celebrations in Walford, The Sun reports.

She also took part in Strictly Come Dancing last year and announced the results of the UK’s national jury on Eurovision in May 2026.

A source told the newspaper: “Since starring on Strictly last year, La Voix has absolutely been the Beeb’s top pick, helping them host events and even announcing the UK’s scores for Eurovision.

“So when there was discussion about a drag queen performing at Walford Pride, there was only ever one option.

“La Voix was absolutely thrilled to be asked and bosses hope viewers enjoy the fun Pride special.”

EastEnders will reportedly celebrate Pride early next month, in line with London’s events.
