“They’re very excited because they’ll be going to once it comes out.

“The children will be going to the premiere in Glasgow getting dressed up with a red carpet, to see themselves on the film.

“Cafe Mór was just a great location for, for that scene. It was ideal.”

Greenock actor Robert Harrison is also involved in the production, having previously appeared as a henchman in Bollywood film Cape Karma.

While not much is known about the current production, Greenock is no stranger to Bollywood films, with acclaimed film producer Vashu Bhagnani having previously taken a liking to the town.

In 2023, he brought a huge crew to the town to shoot scenes for his blockbuster Big Brother, Little Brother, having previously shot his popular film ‘Bell Bottom’ in the town.

The filming works in 2023 were on a far larger scale than the ones which took place this week and involved the entirety of Custom House Quay being shut off.
