How oh so royally sweet!
The Instagram account shared by Prince William and the former Kate Middleton posted a touching photo on Sunday of the dad of three with his daughter Princess Charlotte, 11. The photo was shared in celebration of the prince’s 44th birthday, which also happens to fall on Father’s Day.
In the photo, William — dressed in the uniform of the Welsh Guards of which he serves as the colonel — has his arm around Princess Charlotte, who’s sporting a white dress.
“Happy birthday and Father’s Day to the best Papa in the World! We love you very much. C, G, C & L 💕,” the post said, with the initials referring to Middleton, whose formal title is Catherine, Princess of Wales, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The photo drew a lot of love from fans in addition to comments that pointed out the strong resemblance between Prince William and his daughter, the middle child of his three children.
“William really said copy paste,” one Instagram user wrote.
Another fan wrote that “Charlotte really is her Daddy’s twin 🩷🫶.”
The royal family’s official social media account also celebrated the prince’s big day with a photo of William and his own father King Charles.
“Happy Birthday to The Prince of Wales!” the post said.
