Slayyyter opens up about social media and celebrity fatigue: “I am never interested in calling myself famous or being a celebrity. I feel like a lot of my music, and a lot of the nucleus of my artist project, is very anti that. I think a lot of people, too, are starting to get lke celebrity fatigue, if you will. To think about the Tumblr era, and when you really think about those visuals… it wasn’t about luxury; it would be like people putting studs on their own cut-up shorts or something. And I think Instagram and social media everywhere you look, it’s luxury or super unattainable purses being thrown in your face or super unattainable this and that. People are getting really fatigued by that.”
