Olivia Rodrigo is hosting her own music festival, the superstar confirmed on Monday, booking a star-studded, all women bill featuring the likes of herself, Chappell Roan, Stevie Nicks and Mitski to name a few.
Daisy Chain Fields, as the festival is called, will take place on Aug. 29 at the Great Park in Irvine, California and will also feature Karen O, Sarah McLachlan, Katseye, Bikini Kill, Die Spitz, Doechii, Eli, Garbage, Not For Radio, Quiet Light, Rachel Chinouriri, Santigold, and The Breeders.
In the festival’s mission statement, Rodrigo called Daisy Chain Fields “a festival founded on the belief that joy, community and creativity can inspire meaningful change. It affirms that music and collective experience can serve as enduring drivers of progress and social change. It’s a place where inspiration and curiosity lead to knowledge, strength and action.”
The net proceeds from the event will go to nearly a dozen nonprofit groups including Baby2Baby, Planned Parenthood, the Center for Reproductive Rights and the National Domestic Workers Alliance, among others.
The ticket presale for the festival starts on June 24 at 10 a.m. PST. The event is being promoted by C3 and Live Nation.
Rodrigo announced Daisy Chain Fields fresh off earning her third number one album with You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So In Love, moving 485,000 units for week one.
