Her famous father might have sealed every football fan’s dream ticket away on World Cup duty, but Hollie Shearer is living it up herself on her glamorous hen do in Portugal.
The daughter of legendary England and Newcastle United striker Alan – who has forged her own career as a singer – is set to marry her England rugby player fiance Joe Marchant later this summer and has been busy celebrating her upcoming nuptials in the sun with her friends.
Photos shared on the 31-year-old’s Instagram account over the weekend show Hollie posing with her friends wearing a lace white dress, with another snap showing her standing outside a Portuguese villa and by a sign that reads ‘Hollie’s Hen Club: June 2026’.
Other photos show the 10-strong group celebrating with Aperol Spritzes and straws featuring Marchant’s face, while they also enjoyed floating trays of sushi in the villa’s swimming pool.

Premier League legend Shearer gave his approval to the celebrations, replying to one of his daughter’s Instagram posts with three clapping emojis.
Hollie is one of the BBC pundit’s three children, alongside 25-year-old Will and 33-year-old talent manager Chloe.
She has gained a large following on social media thanks to her glamorous lifestyle and music career, with her top song on Spotify garnering around 1.5 million listens.

Hollie also has a major presence on TikTok, where she shares fashion and lifestyle videos and has close to 335,000 followers.
After over two-and-a-half years of dating, she got engaged to Marchant in Paris in November 2024, showing off her huge diamond ring in front of the Eiffel Tower after the 28-cap England back popped the question.
Marchant, 29, has represented Stade Francais since 2023, with the couple moving in together in the French capital in 2024. However, he has now signed for Sale Sharks ahead of next season.
Since his daughter’s relationship with the England international began, former Newcastle star Shearer has admitted that Hollie has taken a keener interest in rugby than football.
He has also given his verdict on Marchant, joking that he was “just glad it’s not a footballer” before confirming that he was happy with his daughter’s choice of partner.
The former Harlequins star is not the only rugby player set to marry into Shearer’s family, however, with his eldest daughter Chloe engaged to former Newcastle and Gloucester scrum-half Micky Young.
The 35-year-old, who trained with England but never won a senior call-up, proposed at Wylam Brewery in Newcastle, with Shearer cheekily commenting ‘About time too!!!!’ as the couple shared their news on social media in November.
