“I hope the fans can see that I tried to show a new look at this Dior show and that it’s quite pretty,” Jimin tells Vogue while getting ready for this week’s Dior Men show.

Since completing his mandatory military service a year ago, BTS’s Jimin has been doing things a little differently. Wednesday marked his second time in the front row for one of Jonathan Anderson’s Dior Men collections, and without his bandmates accompanying him, he wanted to experiment with his style a bit—beginning with his hair. “I tried really hard to be more refined this year. I grew out my hair compared to last year too,” he explains.

Otherwise, Jimin worked with stylist Youngjin Kim on his outfit for the show: a dandy blue velvet jacket paired with blue jeans, taking a page from Anderson’s pre-fall 2026 lookbook. “Jimin has a really boyish look and we wanted to highlight his boyish charms,” Kim says. “From a stylist’s point of view, he’s very clear about what he likes and what he wants, so he’s a great artist to work with.”

As he got ready, the singer also couldn’t help but share a rare glimpse into his life on tour. Not only does he have a few superstitions, like tying his shoelaces really tight, but his go-to meal on the road will surely resonate with many out there. “I think ordering a burger is ideal. It’s easy to manage and it’s easy to eat,” he says. “It saves time too, it’s perfect.”
