Rianne Downey took to Instagram to thank the club for sending their new Lisbon Lions 60th anniversary kit as she took to the main stage of the event.

The talent from Bellshill kicked off the second day of the festival in Glasgow Green with a set filled with a warm, nostalgic glow that got the crowds going during the early slot.

Sharing a picture of her with the shirt, a week on from the festival, she said: “Thank you @celticfc for kittin’ me oot.”

Included in the picture was a letter alongside the shirt which read: ‘Best of luck with the show! Hope to see you soon! From Celtic FC.’

Rianne held a half an hour set at the Glasgow festival last weekend where halfway through her performance, the singer poised a toast to ‘loved ones lost.’

Speaking to the crowd whilst brandishing a bottle of vodka, Rianne said: “Life’s hard people come and go, it’s hard losing folk but it’s worth it if you had the relationship that you did and I mean that with pals, exes, family members, whoever.

“People come into your life for a reason and whether it was s**t or whether it was amazing you need to thank them in someway, so I am going to pour a wee drink to the people we have loved and the people we have lost.”
