Apollo Crews is now in TNA Wrestling.

He debuted for the promotion under his pre-WWE ring name Uhaa Nation at TNA Slammiversary, held Saturday at Boston’s Agganis Arena.

Nation was one of two mystery opponents for Mustafa Ali on the show, as Ali defended the TNA International Championship against Nation and Rich Swann in a three-way match. Ali retained by pinning Swann with a bridging suplex after Order 4 had buried Nation under the steel ring steps on the outside.

After the match, TNA aired a backstage segment with Moose welcoming Nation to the company.

Reports that TNA was interested in the 38-year-old Nation surfaced earlier this week, though it was unclear at the time whether he was under a 90-day non-compete following his WWE departure.

Nation was part of the WWE roster cuts revealed on April 24. He is a former WWE Intercontinental Champion and United States Champion.
