You couldn’t have asked for a better weekend for the 4th Annual Drive Fore Kids Golf Tournament in Falmouth, as the celebrities showed up and put on another outstanding event.

    Organized by Shamrock Sports & Entertainment, the tournament gives Mainers and celebrity guests alike the chance to enjoy a fantastic weekend of golf while raising money for two incredible charities: The Dempsey Center and the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital.

    What Celebrities Played in the 2026 Drive Fore Kids?

    This year’s celebrity lineup was especially impressive. Vince Carter, Doug Flutie, Michael Peña, Patrick Dempsey, and Blair O’Neal were just a few of the notable names who teed it up in support of a great cause.

    Held once again at Falmouth Country Club, the tournament was a tremendous success. Led by Bangor Savings Bank and Mastercard, the event raised more than $210,000 for The Dempsey Center and the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital. It’s yet another example of Maine’s incredible charitable spirit and the community’s willingness to rally behind worthy causes.

    The total prize purse for the celebrities was $250,000, with the winner taking home $50,000. Not a bad chunk of change for a weekend of work. Plus, is golf really work?

    At the end of the day, former NHL star Joe Pavelski took home the championship, improving on his runner-up finish from last year.

    How Powerful has Drive Fore Kids Become?

    But we all know what this tournament is really about, giving back. Kudos to all the players, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone behind the scenes for putting together such a meaningful event in support of the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital and The Dempsey Center.

    What an incredible fourth year for Shamrock Sports & Entertainment and everyone involved in making this tournament such a success, including more than 300 volunteers and over 50 sponsors. It was also nice to finally have perfect weather throughout the entire weekend.
