The “All Night Long” singer was performing at the opening night of his “Sing a Song All Night Long” tour at the Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul, Minnesota, when he suffered a dizzy spell less than an hour into the show on Wednesday.
Lionel was seen in videos taking a seat multiple times while singing his 1986 track “Dancing on the Ceiling.”
“When you’re feeling dizzy, sit your ass down,” he told the audience.
The Grammy winner attempted to push through his illness before deciding to take a break, and later saxophonist Dino Soldo announced that the show was canceled because the hitmaker was “not feeling well.”
“He won’t be able to continue. Additional information will be available,” Soldo said.
