Prince William joins King Charles and Queen Camilla in Edinburgh

Kensington Palace on Wednesday said Prince William attended the annual Order of the Thistle Service in Edinburgh, Scotland

The Prince of Wales arrived at St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh as he joined King Charles and Queen Camill at the service.

According to the royal family, the Order of the Thistle is the greatest order of chivalry in Scotland, recognising sixteen Knights with the highest honour in the country and recognises Scottish men and women who have held public office or who have contributed in a particular way to national life. The Order is second only in precedence in England to the Order of the Garter.

Meanwhile royals including the Duke of Rothesay and The Duke of Edinburgh were also seen arriving at St Giles Cathedral for the Thistle Service.

Moreover, Princess Anne, accompanied by her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, were seen greeting The Duke of Gloucester as they arrived to commemorates the 110th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme in France.
