Princess Kate in a baseball cap hiking up a mountian Princess Kate took on the Three Peaks Challenge at the weekend

Fresh off completing the gruelling Three Peaks challenge over the weekend, the Princess of Wales showed no signs of slowing down as she quietly returned to royal duties on Tuesday. Kate, 44, held a private meeting at Windsor Castle with Australian philanthropist Nicola Forrest, co-founder of the Minderoo Foundation. While no photos were released, the engagement could signal a long-hoped-for royal tour Down Under.

Kate climbed Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) to raise funds for the Royal Marsden, where she previously received cancer treatment. After walking 23 miles, she was sweetly greeted at the finish line by Prince William, their three children, her parents and her brother.

“I have taken on the National Three Peaks Challenge, not simply as a physical endeavour but as a chance to explore life beyond diagnosis and to give something back. The Royal Marsden is a place that holds great meaning for me and whose care and expertise are life-changing for so many people,” she explained.
