Harry Kane has spent his career rewriting record books. England’s all-time leading scorer, he won his first major trophy with Bayern Munich in 2025 and followed it with a domestic double the following season. At the 2026 World Cup, he surpassed Gary Lineker’s England record for World Cup goals.
Through all of it, the same person has been beside him. Katie Goodland has known Kane since they were classmates at secondary school, long before he was one of the most recognized footballers in the world. Here, get to know more about Harry Kane’s wife, Katie Goodland:

Kane and Goodland met as pupils at Chingford Foundation School in London. The two were even photographed together with another famous Chingford alum, David Beckham, in 2005. Kane and Goodland were 11 and 12 years old at the launch of his football academy.
The depth of that history has not been lost on Kane. “If I was single now and meeting people, you’d never know if they were with you for the right reasons,” he previously told the Evening Standard. “Is it the money? You’d never really know. So I’m lucky that I’ve got a childhood sweetheart. She always wanted to do her own thing. She went to university and worked hard. I have a great family, they keep me grounded and they’ve worked just as hard as me to get me where I am.”
The couple got engaged in the summer of 2017 during a holiday in the Bahamas. Kane proposed on the beach while the two were vacationing with their daughter Ivy. He shared a photo on social media of himself on one knee, captioning it simply: “She said YES!” They married in June 2019. Kane announced the news on social media, though the location was kept private. “A month ago today I married my soul mate, one of the best days of my life,” Goodland wrote after the ceremony. “Thank you for making my dreams come true, you are perfect @harrykane.”
The photos showed the pair at what appeared to be a seaside setting. The bride wore a fitted Ralph and Russo gown with a sweetheart neckline, an embellished bodice, and a fishtail skirt with a long train.
Goodland is a fitness instructor.
Goodland graduated from Middlesex University London in 2014 with a degree in sports science and went on to work as a fitness instructor at a gym in Walthamstow.
She has also built quite a following of more than 341,000 on Instagram, though she is not your typical soccer WAG. Kane has spoken about how she handled the attention that came with his rising profile. “She’s finding it a little crazy,” he told Esquire. “I think she’s even been in the papers a couple of times taking the dogs out.”
The couple have four children together.

Kane and Goodland have four children: Ivy, born in January 2017; Vivienne, born in August 2018; Louis, born in December 2020; and Henry, born in August 2023.
The family has a dog named after Tom Brady.
Kane and Goodland have two Labrador retrievers named Brady and Wilson. Kane named one after NFL quarterback Tom Brady, having repeatedly cited the documentary The Brady 6 as an inspiration for his own development. While many fans make assumptions about their second dog’s name, it was chosen by Goodland. “My wife actually named the other one Wilson,” Kane said in 2023. “People just assumed it was for [former Seattle Seahawks quarterback] Russell Wilson. But it was just a coincidence.”
