Katie Price’s husband Lee Andrews has reportedly been arrested again. The 42-year-old businessman was only released from prison a few weeks ago, claiming upon his return that he was arrested on suspicion of espionage.
According to reports, Mr Andrews was taken by Dubai police to Lahbab police station on Friday 10 July and has been given a £120,000 fine.
While Ms Price, his wife, is currently in the UK, where her documentary Katie Price: Nothing To Hide has just been released, he was said to have told a friend: “They’ve arrested me. Katie might need to bail me out. We need to make a noise with a GoFundMe.”

The Sun added that a source told them Mr Andrews was “stressed” in the run up to his alleged arrest. The source reportedly said that he “needed to raise money he believed he owed”.
This comes just weeks after he was released from a Dubai prison. Mr Andrews disappeared in May 2026 leading to weeks of intrigue about his whereabouts. At first, Ms Price claimed he had been kidnapped, but later said that he was in prison on suspicion of espionage. Others, though, have claimed it was instead due to his alleged debts.
The Sun previously said that Mr Andrews release from prison could be short lived, and alleged that he owed £54,000 to car rental company Rotanna Star that he needed to pay back within 14 days. They also claimed he owed £15,000 to a UAE law firm.
Due to this, he was thought to be subject to a travel restriction that would prevent him from leaving Dubai without first informing the Criminal Investigation Department, but he was not thought to be an “actively wanted” man.
Representatives for Mr Andrews were said to have petitioned for the judge to release him from prison so that he could access his bank accounts to pay off the remaining debts. In a statement, representatives said: “The judgment debtor appeared before the court and was questioned regarding the reason for failure to pay the debt.

“He stated his wife is currently outside the country and that he has been unable to access his bank account required to make payment. He requested a period of 14 days in order to settle the outstanding amount.” It was claimed that he was bragging behind bars that his wife would pay money to release him, however, the former model didn’t part with a penny.
The Sun claimed that Ms Price had helped her husband liaise with officials when he was jailed, but insisted that he could pay the debts himself. He was reportedly given two weeks to find the £69,000, or could be rearrested and jailed again. Upon returning to social media, Mr Andrews told his followers that his arrest had nothing to do with fraud or any criminal activity.
