Prince Harry has reportedly taken a timely walk down memory lane during his recent UK trip, paying a poignant visit to the ancestral home of his late mother, Princess Diana.
According to The Sun, the Duke of Sussex was seen leaving Althorp House in Northamptonshire on Friday, following what would have been Diana’s 65th birthday earlier this month.

The 13,000-acre property has been the Spencers’ family home for five centuries, and is where the late Princess was laid to rest in 1997.
The expansive country estate is the current home of Harry’s uncle Charles Spencer, and includes a private island on Round Oval lake that marks Diana’s final resting place.
According to The Sun, Prince Harry plans to bring children Prince Archie, seven and Princess Lilibet, five, to pay respect to their grandmother.
However it is not known whether this visit has already taken place, or whether it is planned for a later date during their UK stay.
While Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex previously visited her late mother-in-law’s grave in 2022 to mark the 25th anniversary of her death, Harry’s two children have never visited the site.
Sources per The Sun claimed no details would be leaked about the private family gathering, nor any photos released.
The duke travelled to the UK with his family this month for the one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham, with Meghan and the children reportedly joining him last week.
Meghan, Archie and Lilibet have not yet been spotted in public, however Harry has made several solo appearances since touching down on home soil.

Most recently, he attended Scotty’s Summer Festival, an annual charity event supporting bereaved military children.
Harry appeared visibly emotional when one girl, nine-year-old Poppy, asked “what makes you laugh when you’ve had a difficult day?”
The prince candidly admitted to Poppy, whose father passed away in 2020, that it wasn’t always possible to laugh when things were tough.
“You know what, sometimes it’s just a difficult day. It’s not always possible to laugh,” he said.
“But my dog makes me laugh, my children make me laugh. And if I need to laugh, I’ll probably put something really funny on the television.”

This latest appearance proved an eventful one, with the prince going on to participate in an ill-fated session of ‘goat yoga’ while there.
In a video obtained by the Associated Press, Harry could be seen doing a variety of yoga poses alongside the curious goats, before one caught him off-guard by kicking him in the groin.
However, the prince took the unfortunate mishap in his stride, laughing it off with a good-natured “ow!”
