Ciara Miller may have left the villa, but her time summering in the Hamptons isn’t over just yet. Over the past couple of months, the reality star has been hard at work dissecting the anthropological cesspool of hormones that is Love Island USA as a co-host on Aftersun alongside TikToker (and The Cut’s own advice columnist) Tefi Pessoa. But Miller has been hosting the last few episodes virtually from an undisclosed location. On Sunday night, the 30-year-old finally explained her absence from the Fiji clubhouse. “I have Summer House to shoot,” she told Pessoa. “Season 11. I gotta get back to the Hamptons.”

Miller has been a mainstay on Summer House since its fifth season aired in 2021, so her return for Season 11 isn’t a total shock. But in the aftermath of Scamanda — the reveal that Miller’s once–best friend Amanda Batula had started dating her ex-boyfriend, West Wilson — it was hard to imagine Miller even considering a return to the Hamptons. Since the explosive three-part reunion aired in May, however, both Batula and Wilson have reportedly departed the series, which probably made it much easier for Miller to stay. Per “Page Six,” Bravo is also attempting to “get creative” this season in hopes of rehabilitating the show’s post-scandal image.

Only time will tell if summer can, once again, be fun. At least Ciara will be involved.
