During the crowd surf, Everett fell before he was quickly picked back up by the fans in attendance, leading Reddick to believe “everything was fine” as he was brought back over the barrier, smiling at his dad.
After the show, Reddick said he went to his dressing room to see his son and noticed he was “holding something on his head”.
Reddick explained that his son had fallen head first, hitting the plastic cover for the cables which run from the stage back to the soundboard.
Everett was taken to the emergency tent at the venue following the fall, but his dad said he was now “fine”, adding “he’s had a concussion before”.
Despite his first crowd surf not going exactly to plan, Reddick said his son had not been put off by the experience and had made clear he was “going to do it again”.
