King Charles and Prince William see things differently
Prince Harry, who recently visited King Charles with Meghan and their children Archie and Lilibet, knew how to put his father and elder brother William on ‘opposite sides.’
A royal expert has also claimed that King Charles and Harry’s recent meeting was always going to ‘infuriate’ the Prince of Wales.
In his latest piece for Naughty But Nice, royal expert Rob Shuter has claimed Harry understands the complicated relationship between King Charles and William better than almost anyone.
Citing the source, the expert claimed Prince Harry is not afraid to use those divisions to his advantage.
The source said, “Harry doesn’t just know where the weak spots are—he knows how to use them.
“He understands exactly where Charles and William see things differently, and he knows how to put them on opposite sides of the same issue. That’s where he has leverage.”
The close insider went on saying those differences became even more pronounced after their father King Charles cancer diagnosis, when William assumed a greater leadership role before the monarch returned to a fuller public schedule.
“Harry knew exactly what the optics would be,” another royal insider says.
“A meeting with Charles was always going to infuriate William,” the source said and adds, “Harry understands that his father still thinks like a parent, while William thinks like the future King. Those are two very different mindsets, and Harry knows how to play to both.”
