It’s 2026, and celebrities keep cheating. What the heck is the deal?!
Something we do want to talk about, though, is the implications behind the concept of being a “homewrecker.” Oftentimes, especially in the media, it seems as though it’s worse to be a so-called “homewrecker” than actually be the one who cheated on their partners/ abandoned their families. We’ve seen it time and time again, and quite frankly, we think the blame should go all around, But if anyone is going to get super mad at anyone, it should be the one who literally abandoned their family; just saying.
Now, we know that Hollywood is truly messy as heck, and it seems like there’s a major controversy happening every other week (especially in the dating department). But all eyes are especially on a cheating scandal, not only that, but a cheating scandal where there is a spouse and family involved, and a rather, erm, interesting response from one or both of the cheaters.
From song lyrics to quick engagements, celebrities have made some pretty wild responses after cheating allegations came out.

Ariana Grande

One of the biggest scandals of 2023 was when news broke of the alleged affair between Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater. Grande split up with her husband Dalton Gomez, and Slater split up from his wife of many years (who just welcomed their son) to be together.
In response to the cheating allegations and controversy, Grande used her first single from her long-awaited second album to give her statement. The song, “Yes, And?” featured a telling lyric saying: “Your business is yours and mine is mine/ Why do you care so much whose **** I ride?”
This also isn’t the first incident where Grande has been accused of this type of behavior.
Angelina Jolie

Something people don’t talk enough bout is how Billy Bob Thornton was literally engaged to Laura Dern, went away for a film set and then just randomly ditched her for someone so much younger than him. (Yes, Thornton, that’s shady as heck.)
After the allegations of him and Angelina Jolie cheating came up, they were quite unbothered, and didn’t hold back on the PDA. In fact, they were often seen making out on the red carpet
Julia Roberts

Chances are, you completely forgot about this incident like we did. Despite them claiming that their romance wasn’t the reason for Danny Moder splitting up with his first wife Vera, something shady happened.
The divorce took a few years to finalize, and it didn’t stop Moder and Julia Roberts from getting more serious. Then, in early 2002, Roberts was photographed in a DIY shirt that said “A Low Vera.” Honestly, bonkers.
Jay-Z

Rapper Nas was with the mother of his child Carmen Bryan from 1992 to 2001, welcoming their child in 1994. Bryan alleged in her book, It’s No Secret: From Nas to Jay-Z, From Seduction to Scandal, a Hip-Hop Helen of Troy Tells All, that she and Jay-Z had a relationship from 1997 to 1999.
Not only did this start a feud, but Jay-Z even bragged about it in the song “Supa Girl.”
Britney Spears

Kevin Federline’s ex-partner Shar Jackson has previously said his affair with Britney Spears was “like breaking up a family,” per People. Amid the allegations, Jackson even claimed that while she was giving birth, Spears waited outside the hospital for Federline, per USMagazine.
Jennifer Lopez

While Marc Anthony and Dayanara Torres were married, allegations came out that he started seeing Jennifer Lopez towards the end. In fact, it’s alleged that they got engaged four days after he broke up with Torres and within five months, they tied the knot, per Business Insider.
