GB News has suggested that Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and King Charles are engaged in a “giant game of chess” – though Harry has reportedly “upset” his wife during their UK visit.
American showbiz journalist Nelson Aspen joined anchor Will Kingston on the program, insisting the couple requires a “reinvention” following their string of Hollywood disappointments.
During the broadcast, Aspen remarked, “I’m sure Meghan is very sad that she missed out on the public engagements, because with public engagements come cameras.
“So I’m sure she is very sad she missed out on the opportunity to be photographed in her triumphant return to the United Kingdom.
“However, she said she would let Harry lead the way and she was very supportive of him, and I think it’s wonderful that your King somehow managed to wait them out and play them like a fiddle.”

As reported by the Express, he went on to say, “Because Harry and Meghan desperately need reinvention. They are feeling outcast and rejected by America.
“It has been six years, and I think Harry is trying to find a way to get back in the good graces, and this was an opportunity, even if it was just an hour of tea with the King and the Queen.”
Kingston reflected, “Yeah, it’s interesting you say they both require reinvention. It feels like every single time I see them in the media there is some sort of attempt at reinvention.
“Jams, then a rubbish podcast, then any number of these sorts of particular projects – none of them seem to go anywhere, because neither of them have a great deal of talent.

“But where do they go from here? Because it’s just failure after failure – maybe the Invictus Games is a small exception. Where to next?”
Aspen responded, “Well I would agree with you except for the fact that even with the Invictus Games they’re having serious financial difficulties. There is even a petition to remove Prince Harry from his role with the Invictus Games. It’s garnered over 2,600 signatures so far.
“So he definitely needs a parachute, and banking on Hollywood may have seemed like a great idea six years ago, but it’s not working out so well now – especially when their A-list friends in Montecito don’t want to be seen with them.
“It’s rather toxic to be seen with them from a celebrity point of view. Invictus is different.
“Of course his lineage still is there, will always be there, so he is wise to use that as a backup plan, and I think he’s seriously looking at it.”
He went on to say, “You could argue that this visit was a success, because the King and Queen were very gracious to host them and see them, but they also were very canny about not allowing photographs – although I’m sure there were some taken and I’m sure they will be released when the King and Queen decide they will be released.
“It was all very strategic from everyone – a giant game of chess.”
