Local musician and content producer Shane Solomon said it will be about “showing the real Katie Price”

British television personality and former model Katie Price is set to have another documentary about her life – but this time about her life in Cornwall.
According to a recent Facebook post by St Austell-based musician and content producer Shane Solomon, the documentary will aim to show a more authentic and honest portrayal of Katie, formerly known as Jordan during her glamour modelling days, when she would frequently appear on Page Three of the tabloid papers.
Shane said the documentary will show Katie and her friend, Lewis Nicholls, who went from growing up on Penzance’s Treneere estate to interviewing high profile celebrities, including Andrew Ridgeley from 80s band Wham and Doc Martin star Martin Clunes, to Cockney legend Danny Dyer and actor Will Mellor.
Shane wrote: “I’m incredibly proud to finally share that I’ve been asked to produce and direct a brand-new documentary: Katie Price, Cornwall and Me.
“This documentary is all about showing the real Katie Price—away from the headlines, the online stories, and all the negativity.
“You’ll get to see Katie as she really is, spending time with her close friend Lewis Nicholls, whose genuine friendship with Katie blossomed after they went on tour for three months last year and then she came to do our Life Stories show.
“We’ll be following them as they take on some incredible Cornish experiences together, from ziplining at Hangloose at Eden to plenty of other exciting adventures across Cornwall.
“Plus Harvey will be featured enjoying some incredible special moments that will warm your heart.”
In his post Shane asked followers he would love to hear people’s suggestion about where the film crew should take Katie and what activities should Katie and Lewis do together. Some responded on his Facebook post suggesting the pair should head out on a ghost hunt in Bodmin Jail, while others claimed a good location would be Wheal Martyn. Many highlighted St Michael’s Mount as a great area to visit while many suggested the stunning Minack theatre.
He added: “I genuinely can’t wait for you all to see this. It’s a real, authentic look at Katie behind the headlines, capturing laughter, friendship, and unforgettable moments showcasing our beautiful Cornwall. I’m so honoured to be directing this project, and I can’t wait to share it with you all.”
