The Rooney family has been enjoying quality time together

Coleen Rooney has been enjoying some family time as her and Wayne jetted off on holiday with their children. The I’m A Celebrity runner-up regularly shares insights into her private life and often expresses how proud she is of her sons.
In the latest post to Instagram, Coleen posted a picture of her youngest son Cass Mac. The mum-of-four posted a picture of Cass wearing a Brazil football top as he showed off his new haircut. She captioned the post: “Summer holidays. Hair style fun.”
Cass’ new haircut has been inspired by Brazil legend, Ronaldo Nazário. He debuted the iconic style during the 2002 World Cup in South Korea and Japan. The footballer had a completely shaven head with only a small, distinct patch of hair left above his forehead.
Ronaldo’s haircut was the talking point throughout the tournament. He previously said: “I had an injury in my leg and everybody was talking about that. I decided to cut my hair and leave the small thing there. I come to training and everyone saw me with bad hair.
“Everybody was talking about the hair and forgot about the injury. I could stay more calm and relaxed and focused on my training.”

After posting the picture of Cass with his new haircut, Coleen attached a picture of Ronaldo underneath sporting the same haircut. She also heaped praise on her son after his latest sporting achievement. A photo of Cass holding a trophy was captioned: “Summer league winners. Well done Cass and team.”
When Coleen was in the I’m A Celebrity jungle in 2024, she explained the reasons behind her and Rooney choosing one son to have a name that didn’t start with ‘K’, after already giving birth to Kai, Klay and Kit.
She said: “I looked up the meaning of the name Cassius and with a K it meant blackbird, and with a C it meant clever.”
Deciding on Cassius, Coleen and the former Everton striker then chose Mac for his middle name given her maiden name was McLoughlin, and her friends used to nickname her Coleen Mac. As Coleen’s middle name was Mary, this then meant Cass would have the same initials as her, CMR.
The Croxteth-born star opened up on having four boys, she admitted: “I would’ve liked a girl for Wayne, I wasn’t desperate, he would’ve liked a girl, I wasn’t bothered either way.”
The latest message to Cass comes after the parents sent a message of support to their eldest son, Kai. The 16-year-old has signed a first-year scholarship contract with Manchester United.
Rooney, who has been in the USA for the World Cup, shared the photo on social media. He added the caption: “Proud of you @kairooney.10” with a red love heart emoji.
