After ruling herself out of the running for Strictly Come Dancing’s 2026 lineup – which most recently announced Dame Sarah Storey as the latest celebrity to be joining – GK Barry has put her name forward for a future stint on The Celebrity Traitors.

During an exclusive chat with Digital Spy, the Loose Women panellist revealed that the hit BBC game show was her ‘vibe’, stating: “I’d love to do Traitors”.

When asked whether she thought she’d make a good Faithful or Traitor, GK Barry elaborated: “I think I’d be pretty awful at both, to be honest. I’m quite a bad liar, and even when I’m not lying I feel like I look suss.”

“So I would just – to be honest with you – I’d just be there to meet everyone else,” she added. “I’d just be excited, like who’s on my team, who’s on the roundtable, I would just use it for a goss!”

As for who else she’d love to have in the castle with her, the podcaster and TV personality name-checked the iconic Paris Hilton.

“We could both have our little dogs,” GK Barry continued. “We both love pink. I just think it could be like The Simple Life all over again, but in Scotland.”

Anticipation is building for the second season of Celebrity Traitors, which is expected to return to our screens in the autumn. The UK’s first-ever star-studded version of the format aired at the end of last year, with breakout personality Alan Carr being crowned the winner after having a brilliant and hilarious time as a Traitor.

All eyes were on who would be taking part in the returning season, with rumours and speculation circulating around the possible season-two lineup.

The full list of names was officially confirmed in May, with an impressive host of famous faces that includes Michael Sheen, Richard E Grant, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, James Blunt, Bella Ramsey, and Professor Hannah Fry.

There’s also a bunch of brilliant comedians on the roster, with James Acaster, Joe Lycett, Romesh Ranganathan, Miranda Hart, and Rob Beckett all in the mix.

GK Barry, who recently partnered with Tropicana on its Recover Like a Pro campaign, also opened up about joining the Loose Women panel.

“I love Loose Women, I’d say the first three shows that I was on, I was not speaking at all, and was just trembling in the chair,” she recalled.

“But now I’ve got my confidence. All the women are so lovely as well, there’s not one of them that hasn’t welcomed me.”
