On Saturday 18 July, Melanie Chisholm celebrated her marriage to Australian model, Chris Dingwall. The ceremony took place at a lakeside property in Cumbria, where a mixture of friends and family, including Chisholm’s 17-year-old daughter Scarlett, were in attendance.
The couple dated for about three years before marrying, their relationship beginning back in 2023 when they met on the dating app, Raya. During this time, Melanie was in London and Dingwall lived in Sydney as they began their long-distance relationship. By the end of summer 2025, they were engaged after a romantic trip to Spain.

Mel B, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton were there to support and celebrate their friend and ex-band mate on her big day. Although Victoria Beckham was unable to be with her fellow Spice Girls due to being stateside for the World Cup, her presence was felt in the form of a bespoke gown from her eponymous label, that Chisholm wore to say ‘I do.’
The UK wedding had been preceded by a small legal ceremony that took place in Dingwall’s native Australia. For this ceremony, Chisholm wore a dress that was not only by Victoria Beckham, but borrowed directly from her personal wardrobe. The dress in question was The Lace Cami Dress, which was then used as the starting point for the custom dress Melanie would end up wearing for her Cumbria wedding.

The Lace Cami Dress is a style described on the Victoria Beckham website as, ‘a sensuous 1990s-inspired camisole slip dress.’ It is crafted from crepe back satin and features a floor-length hemline, V-neckline and plunging, low-back design. It is a style that VB herself has been pictured in, and it is still available to buy today.
One fifth of the biggest girl group of all time, Melanie was just 20 when the Spice Girls first formed in 1994. Now at 52, the singer is still making music, and her ninth album, Sweat was released just earlier this year, in May.
