Meghan Markle, 44, recently offered a glimpse into her life in Montecito with Prince Harry and their two children after sharing a carousel of pictures from their “summer holiday”.

The mini-holiday album included photographs of the couple enjoying a sun-soaked getaway in Portugal, where they own a holiday house, countryside portraits and pictures taken at Althorp estate, where Princess Diana grew up.

In one picture, Meghan is seen sunbathing on a lounger with the couple’s beagle, Mia. It is believed to have been taken from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s home in Montecito, California, where they live with Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lillibet, five.

The photograph features paving tiles consistent with those used for Harry and Meghan’s pool in Montecito.

In the background of the photo, which has been blurred to cast a spotlight on Meghan, are two individuals – one of whom is thought to be Charles Spencer, 62, Harry’s uncle and the late Princess Diana’s brother.

A grey-haired figure can be seen in the right-hand corner of the photograph, with features consistent with Charles’. People have also speculated that a second figure, a woman with long hair, is Professor Cat Jarman, 43, whom Charles married during an intimate ceremony in May earlier this year.

If so, Charles Spencer will be the first of any of Harry’s relatives to visit the property in the six years they have lived there.

Elsewhere, the Sussexes were seen paying a visit to Princess Diana’s resting place at her childhood home in Northamptonshire. Pictured from behind, the couple’s children carried large bouquets, likely to be left at their grandmother’s grave, which sits on an island within the estate’s Oval Lake.

It is the first time Archie and Lillibet have ever visited the property, and the second time Meghan has ever been.Charles has maintained a close bond with Harry following his departure from the royal family.

While Harry has a strained relationship with many of his relatives, including his brother, Prince William, who he is said not to be on speaking terms with, his relationship with his uncle has remained strong over the years.

Last year, Harry even considered changing his surname from Mountbatten-Windsor to Spencer, in honour of his mother’s family moniker.
