Daisy Ridley will be part of the panel at the Worcester Film Festival 2026, which will run between September 22 and September 26.

Ridley is best known for her role as orphan-turned-Jedi Rey in the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, but has taken on a diverse selection of roles in recent years, such as Gertrude Ederle in a biopic of the competitive swimmer’s life, while also taking the roles of writer and producer in projects.

In the coming months, she will star alongside Johnny Depp, Rupert Grint, and Ian McKellen in Ebenezer, a rendition of A Christmas Carol where Ridley will play the ghost of Christmas Yet to Come.

Now in its sixth year, Worcester Film Festival has grown substantially which each edition.

This year, 260 films will be shown across seven venues around the city.
