Marvel Studios is assembling its own Children of the Atom and it’s starting to look as though the original five members of the team may share the screen in the 2028 film.
With actors in place as Jean Grey and Scott Summers and Charles Melton strongly rumored to be playing Hank McCoy, the studio only has to fill the roles of Bobby Drake and Warren Worthington III to get Charles Xavier’s first X-Men together. And fans have begun to believe that the studio may have found the right fit for the latter.
Mentioned in THR’s report on the 2028 film is the news that Gen V and Scream 7 star Asa Germann auditioned for the role of Cyclops before losing out to Kit Connor; however, as was the case when Tom Hiddleston‘s audition for Thor helped him land the role of Loki, Germann’s audition may have landed him another role.

Though Disney is refusing to comment on a potential role for Germann, fans are sharing their belief that the actor might be the right fit for Warren Worthington III, aka Angel.
Should Marvel indeed be casting Angel in the film, the actor filling the role should be able to express emotions across a broad spectrum and, eventually, establish a bit of a disquieting presence, two talents Germann has displayed.
