When it comes to hair, Connor Storrie can do no wrong. He can pull off a look like he just took off his hockey helmet post-game or cosplay as Kurt Cobain, and that beautiful head of curls will find a way to look good no matter what. Now there’s a new Storrie Shag to show to your barber. In a new video, the Saint Laurent global ambassador fronts the fall 2026 campaign where his luscious curls are arguably doing the heavy lifting. The 35-second clip shows the Heated Rivalry star from the chin up, bobbing his head to Milli Vanilli’s “Girl I’m Gonna Miss You,” his hair bouncing gracefully with every jerk of the neck.

In the rest of the campaign, Emmy-nominated actor is the picture boy for ‘80s yuppie power dressing, showing off a pinstriped dress shirt, popped collar paired with a leather jacket, and a pair of black wraparound sunglasses. It reads: Board meeting at 4 p.m. and a round of golf at 5 p.m. Despite the finance bro inspo of his outfit, Storrie’s hair was actually modeled after an influential photographer in the 1970s New York City punk rock scene.

“We wanted to go in that Robert Mapplethorpe direction,” Storrie’s hairstylist Candice Birns tells GQ. “We all love [Connor’s] natural curls. He doesn’t need a whole lot, and it just made sense to go in that sort of effortless, hunky late ’70s, early ’80s feeling.”

She describes the haircut as a “modern mod,” which has become a kind of signature style for Birns whose clients have included Jacob Elordi and Gerran Howell, both of whom have worn similar mod haircuts that were customized to their hair textures.
