Brown also remembers Lewis, who is known for his roles in Homeland and Band of Brothers, was “really lovely” to her and said hello every morning.

She also says it was “very nice to see the Andrew Scott who wasn’t playing James Stagg”.

She talks of acting a phone call scene with him and thinking after each cut, “I’m really doing this with Andrew Scott”.

Brown says later he praised her for “an absolutely fantastic job” and provided her with specific feedback.

“It’s nice to just give space to those people who have quite complex characters to play,” she says.

“Damien, for example, very different on set, he’d go into character and out of character, whereas other people very much would stay in.”

She says having watched the cast “bounce off each other” had been “amazing to be a part of and learn from”.

Pressure was released in the US on 29 May and Brown, who lives mostly in Los Angeles, says she thinks it would have “a different type of appeal” in the UK.
